"We had been with State Farm for *thirty years*. In 2025, my son had a small accident and I was in a multi-car crash that totaled my car. We were shocked when we were told that they were dropping our four car insurance policies. Thirty years of loyalty didn't seem to matter.

I give State Farm two stars. The second one is for the claims that they covered over the years. I would have liked to give a full five-star rating, but loyalty goes both ways.

Beware. If you use the insurance, which you are paying for, you might get dropped, even though that's why we buy insurance, isn't it? State Farm was not a good neighbor in this case."

"Went to them for a homeowners policy, thought everything was good to go. Then, I received a letter from my mortgage company notifying me that the policy was no longer active. Called the office, they were closed. Called the 800 number for state farm and was informed that there was no policy in their system. When I finally got in touch with this agency, I was told the policy was fine and she'd fax the documents to my mortgage compnay. Fast forward about two weeks, I received another notice that informed me I apparently still did not have coverage. Called the office again and was told they didn't submit the paperwork correctly and that they were going to fix it. Fast forward another week or so, was told they couldn't cover me without evidence that my roof was new(it was a closing concession), still no coverage. I went to Geico, got better coverage at a better price. This agency is incompetent at best and they communicate very well. Also, pretty sure they straight up lied to me one more than one occasion. Save your time and money, go ANYWHERE else."
